The quick-release lens mount system allows you to swap lenses in seconds. It includes plates for Beastgrip lenses (M37 x 0.75), Moment lenses (T-Bayonet), and lenses with an M17 x 0.75 mount, providing maximum flexibility and creative choices. Add the optional 58mm filter mount to use filters across all three cameras for cinematic flexibility.
The Beastcage includes ¼"-20 threaded mounts with ARRI locating pin slots, cold shoe mount, neck strap mounts, and additional front mounts. These give you the freedom to attach LED lights, microphones, tripods, gimbals, handles, and more — allowing you to build a custom rig that fits your workflow.
Crafted from machined anodized aluminum, the Beastcage is built with precision and engineered for exceptional durability to withstand the demands of professional use. Is Beastcage 17 Pro Max compatible with multiple iPhone models?
Each Beastcage is designed for a specific iPhone model and is not cross-compatible. Beastcage 17 Pro Max is compatible with iPhone 17 Pro Max.
What lenses / filters can be used with Beastcage 17 Pro Max?
Beastcage 17 Pro Max comes with M37, M17, and Moment T-Bayonet lens mount plates, giving you the flexibility to use Beastgrip Lenses and DOF Adapters, Moment T-Series lenses, and M17 lenses - unlocking a wide range of creative possibilities. With the optional 58mm filter mount, you can attach standard 58mm filters directly to all three cameras on the iPhone 17 Pro Max and use larger filters with step-up rings.
What accessories can I use with Beastcage 17 Pro Max?
Beastcage is designed with industry-standard mounting options, including a cold shoe, multiple 1/4"-20 threaded mounts with ARRI locating pin slots, and additional interface mounts. This gives you unlimited flexibility to add accessories such as tripods, gimbals, microphones, LED lights, magic arms, and more. We also offer handle mounts that support NATO-style or ARRI rosette handles, so you can easily build out a rig that fits your shooting style.
Can I use a protective case on my iPhone with Beastcage?
No. Beastcage is designed to fit your iPhone directly, ensuring it is properly aligned, securely held, and protected inside the cage. Since there are countless case designs, it would be impossible to build a cage that accommodates them all while maintaining perfect alignment with the cameras and lens mounts.
Can I use a protective screen on my iPhone with Beastcage?
Yes, you can use a protective screen as long as it’s under 0.4mm thick. Thicker screens will press against the Beastcage cover when locked and risk being damaged.
Can I use MagSafe accessories on my iPhone with Beastcage?
No. The Beastcage lens mount covers part of the MagSafe area, so MagSafe accessories cannot attach directly to the iPhone while it’s in the cage. For MagSafe use, check out our Magnetic Accessory Mount compatible with the Beastcage.
