Hello #beastgripnation, today we want to share some great news with you! We’ve added a couple of new features to our Beastcam app for iPhone. I am sure a lot of you will be very excited about this as we received tons of requests from you guys and as always we have listened.

So here they are:

We added an option to stitch recording footage
We introduced 10bit SDR recording on iPhones 12 and 13 series
Prores codec is now available for iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max
New Smart Exposure Mode on our Beastcam app.

Stitch Recording Footage

This is a very cool new feature that will allow you to pause the recording at any time and then continue recording by simply pressing the shutter/pause button again. At the end, your video will be saved as one file. It's a perfect tool for quick storytelling that will make your editing process much easier.

Stitch Recording Footage is not available in 10-bit HDR.

10-bit SDR

Now you can record 10-bit SDR videos in up to 4K 30 fps on your iPhone 12 and 13 Series. Get better video quality that can be edited more easily compared to native 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR on iPhone.

ProRes

ProRes is now available on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max up to 4K 60 FPS! We received tons of requests to bring the ProRes to our app and we are happy to say it is finally here. Record your videos in the highest quality possible by selecting the ProRes codec in our Beastcam app. This Apple-designed codec will give you better image quality and will impress you with the results. All the benefits of ProRes are now available on Beatscam app.

Smart Exposure Mode

Another cool new feature on the BeastCam app is Smart Exposure Mode. It will allow you to control your exposure on your camera with a single slider similar to native camera app. It will reduce the amount of noise and artifacts in your image and preserve more details, especially if you shoot in high-dynamic scenes. The Smart Exposure Mode will help you to achieve the cleanest and best possible results.
