New production company Ghost Digital Cinema just released a heartwarming short film about pro skateboarder Sean Malto on his difficult road to recovery from a devastating ankle injury.

There has been a massive buzz around this video since it was released on Vevo on March 10, and it is well-deserved. Not only is this Olivia Wilde's debut as a director, and a monumental moment for phoneography, but it's most importantly a beautiful portrayal of the artistry of Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zero's song No Love Like Yours

It was a pleasant surprise to come across the Instagram teaser from videoographer Filip Sjövall, featuring skaters Edvin Marsh, Jakob Stein, and Noam Or. It's a beautifully shot video showing these talented skaters doing what they do best in the streets of Spain.

Despite having been online for only several hours after the launch, the upcoming film 9 Rides has been funded over 55% on Kickstarter. “It’s been so crazy already, and we still have 19 more days to go!” says director Matthew Cherry during a phone interview.

Check out the video we shot few weeks ago on iPhone 6 Plus mounted on Beastgrip Pro with Beastgrip DOF adapter and Canon 50mm f1.4 EF lens. We used FiMiCPro camera app in slow motion video recording mode at 240 fps input and 24fps output.
