Apple UK just released Détour, the perfect short film to kickoff the summer a beautifully told, cinematic piece of French storytelling at its finest by the Academy Award-winning Michel Gondry. Michel is best known for wining an Academy Award for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and his work with Kanye West, The White Stripes and Beck. Check out Détour below:
To make things even better, Apple even shared some incredible behind the scenes videos to demonstrate Michel's keen ability to turn the iPhone and Beastgrip Pro setup into a powerful piece of visual storytelling.
It's a shame that we didn't have our Pro Series 1.33X Anamorphic Lens or DOF Adapter MK2 in time for their production, but we're so thrilled to see such a talented group put this incredible video series together. Another giant leap for the phoneography movement. We can't wait to see more! BG
