The DOF MK3 Is Back – Limited Stock Available Now

We’re excited to share that the DOF MK3 adapter is officially back in stock! After months of being sold out, a limited number of new units are now available on our website. We’ll also be releasing a small batch of refurbished units soon—perfect for anyone looking to get their hands on one of the most in-demand tools in mobile filmmaking at a lower price point.

The DOF MK3 is a specialized, professional-grade adapter that allows you to use full-frame DSLR lenses with your smartphone to achieve real optical depth of field. Each unit is assembled by hand with extreme attention to detail and the production process is both labor-intensive and dependent on hard-to-source components. That’s why restocks are rare and why demand always exceeds supply.

We’re currently working on a much larger production run, which we expect to be available by late May or early June. If you miss out on this limited release, stay tuned — more are on the way.

New Beastgrip DOF Adapter Φoton

We’re also thrilled to share a glimpse into the future of mobile filmmaking with our new DOF Adapter Φoton. This is a completely new, experimental proof-of-concept system designed around a PL mount, built specifically for high-end productions and professional workflows.

Currently, the Φoton Adapter is available for rent exclusively through Old Fast Glass in Los Angeles. This marks the beginning of a broader rollout, with plans to expand into more rental houses across the U.S. very soon. If you're interested in renting the Φoton Adapter now, reach out to Old Fast Glass to book it for your next shoot.

As this project evolves, we’ll be sharing more details and updates.
