After gathering some FAQ’s on our DOF adapter, we decided to film a couple instructional videos on compatible lenses and how to get started. Here’s a quick summary of what we discussed:

-How it works
-Assembly
-Shooting with iPhone, Android and Windows phone apps
-Limitations
-Mounting your lens
-Compatible lens types
-Fast lens vs. slow lens
-Lens recommendations

In case you’re wondering what gear we used: both videos were shot on an iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5 with Filmakr and FilMicPro apps, the Beastgrip Pro, Beastgrip DOF Adapter with Nikon f1.2 55mm SLR lens, Beastgrip Wide-Angle lens, Nikon Tele converter TC-E2 2x.

For sound recording we used  Sennheiser MKE 2 digital microphone ( in first video), also Rode VideoMicro and Rode Smartlav+ microphones ( in second video).

We had a lot of fun making these videos and look forward to posting more pretty soon to discuss different accessories like microphones, led lights, support gear, etc. that we recommend and demonstrate a few phoneography tips and tricks! Feel free to email us at info@beastgrip.com for any video suggestions!
