Unlike dedicated macro lenses with an extremely narrow focus range and requiring you to shoot from a very close distance, this close-up filter combined with anamorphic and telephoto lenses provides a more versatile focus range, letting you get closer while still maintaining a few feet of focus distance for greater flexibility in your shots.

When used with the Beastgrip 1.7X Telephoto Lens, the filter shortens the minimum focus distance to approximately 7 inches, making it perfect for capturing intricate details with stunning depth separation. It also significantly improves the close-focus capability of Beastgrip 1.33X and 1.55X Anamorphic Lenses, overcoming the limitations typically associated with anamorphic optics.
