The Beastcage 18 Series Lens Mount Upgrade Plates let you use your existing Beastcage for iPhone 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max with the corresponding iPhone 18 Pro or 18 Pro Max, while providing the proper alignment and clearance required for mounting external lenses.
Choose the mounting option you need: M37 x 0.75 for Beastgrip lenses, M17 x 0.75, or Moment T-Series Bayonet. Or choose the Complete Pack to get all three lens mounting options.
Installation is quick and simple, replace the existing lens mount plate on your Beastcage 17 Series with the corresponding iPhone 18 Series plate and you're ready to use your existing cage with the new iPhone.

When will the iPhone 18 upgrade plates ship?

Why are new lens mount plates available for iPhone 18?
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max fit inside the corresponding Beastcage 17 Series models, but the new camera module protrudes approximately 0.6 mm farther than the previous generation.
The updated iPhone 18 Series lens mount plates provide additional clearance for the new camera design while maintaining proper positioning for external lenses.
Can I use iPhone 18 with my Beastcage 17 and existing lens mount plates?
Yes. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max fit inside the corresponding Beastcage 17 Series models, so you can continue using your existing Beastcage. Your existing lens mount plates can also be used, but there are some important differences to be aware of.
The camera module on the iPhone 18 protrudes approximately 0.6 mm farther than on the previous generation, leaving less clearance between the phone and the existing lens mount plates.
With the existing M37 plate, the larger camera module presses against the back surface of the plate. This can slightly push the phone away from its normal position inside the cage and apply additional pressure to the camera area.
The existing M17 and Moment T-Series plates have larger openings, allowing the camera module to extend slightly into the plate without direct contact when no lens is attached. However, once a lens is installed, the lens mount will most likely come into contact with the iPhone’s camera glass due to the reduced clearance, potentially applying pressure to the camera area.
For this reason, while the existing plates can still be used, we strongly recommend upgrading to the iPhone 18 Series lens mount plates when using external lenses. The updated plates provide additional clearance for the larger camera protrusion and are optimized for proper lens positioning without putting unnecessary pressure on the phone.
Do I need to replace my Beastcage 17?
No. That's the purpose of these upgrade plates.
Which lens mount plate should I choose?
Choose the option based on the lenses you use:
- M37 × 0.75 — for Beastgrip lenses and other compatible M37 lenses
- M17 × 0.75 + Adapter — for M17 lenses and includes the M17-to-M37 adapter ring
- Moment T-Series — for Moment T-Series lenses
- Complete Pack — includes all three lens mount plates plus the M17-to-M37 adapter ring, with savings compared with purchasing each option individually
