My first impression is positive. Good design, solid equipment!
I purchased both the beastcage and the beastgrip Pro.
Both seem extremely useful. I love the flexibility of the beastcage. I feel like the beastgrip Pro has less versatility.
My first recommendation would be to make both units compatible. The beastcage does not fit seamlessly into the beastgrip pro. I think it would be pretty cool if you could house the camera/iPhone within the beastcage and when needed fit it right into the beastgrip Pro - to quickly go from perhaps a gimbal or car mount directly to hand held operation without removing the camera from the beastcage.
The beastgrip pro could be more functional if it had more capacity for attachments (kind of like the beastcage). It offers enough to be functional, but when you start adding elements, microphones, external drives and supplemental battery power it’s limited.
With that, Said, I’m very impressed by the flexibility and capacity to use existing gear, plates, mounts, etc., with the beastcage. The beastgrip Pro doesn’t offer as many options.
I’ve only done a brief test, rigging the beastcage to a gimbal - I found I needed an additional SSD clamp mount to use both an external hard drive along with an external battery supply on a gimbal / employing a blackmagic pro dock - (things get a little hairy when you start adding additional components) just making sure that the iPhone has the capacity for genlock, additional USB ports external power, microphones, headphones, etc.
I discovered that I needed an additional shoe mount - and ssd clamp (or battery clamp) to allow more flexibility.
Overall, I give the equipment a top rating for the purpose it is designed for! I’m really excited about it, and I’m really very happy with the purchase. Best grip is the right choice.

For run and gun the 58 is great. Here I have a polarizer over all three stock lenses using the beast cage with the 26 pro max, small rig hub, eye light, Samsung ssd with beast mount plate, Rode Pro 2 wireless lavs and Shure shotgun, beast grip handle and lite weight monopod.
Perfect fit! I really like how all of Beastgrip Products work together to make my filmmaking experience more enjoyable and I’m able to focus completely on my subject matter!
I often use a CPL filter over the iPhone's camera lenses. This adapter plate for the Beastcage for iPhone 15 Max does the trick with a 58mm filter. I have tested specifically for vignetting and found none, even when using the ultra wide (.5x) camera lens. The plate with a filter attached, installs easily and securely.
This precise filter mount for your iPhone 14/pro/pro max is a must have tool for your beastcage to be able to mount your best 58mm filter. Get it while you can you won’t regret and it looks awesome in use. Thanks Beastgrip
The 58mm Filter Mount for my Beastcage is awesome. It fits perfectly and allows me to use my 58mm Pro Series VND Filter with ease. I'm still building my rig but already enjoying the benefits of this filter mount!

Using filters today is an important aspect for video shooting, this measure is useful and convenient for the applicability of the beastgrip also on gimbals

very convenient adapter tu use without lenses on all my iPhone's cameras. This way I can put a filter and know that it will be used by any of the cameras.
