Beyond Boundaries: The Groundbreaking Short Film 'O2' Shot on iPhone with Beastgrip new DOF Adapter Фoton

September 9, 2024

We’re thrilled to announce our latest collaboration with Evotime Films on the short film “O2.” This remarkable project showcases the evolution of mobile filmmaking, captured entirely on an iPhone and powered by the new Beastgrip DOF Adapter  Фoton adapter in partnership with Atlas Lens Co. and Old Fast Glass.

“O2” redefines the limits of mobile cinematography, demonstrating the extraordinary capabilities of filmmaking on a smartphone. For this project, we paired Atlas anamorphic lenses with our next-generation DOF Adapter Фoton for cinema lenses and the robust Beastmode cage to achieve a truly cinematic experience.

So what makes the new  Фoton adapter so special? It features a new, upgraded optical design that outperforms our previous DOF Adapters. By eliminating ground glass, we were able to design an adapter that delivers more detail and better image quality, bringing the power of cinema optics to smartphone filmmakers.

And then there’s our upcoming Beastmode Cage. Our gear has always been known for its durability, but with industry professionals' feedback, we took it a step further. Our new Beastmode Cage is engineered for high-pressure production environments, allowing professional filmmakers to maintain efficiency without compromising on performance.

We’re beyond excited for “O2,” which is currently being submitted to film festivals worldwide. Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking gear and be sure to follow the project online to show your support.
