In the last few years, we noticed a trend that is happening with all big smartphone companies in the camera department. Camera sensors and optics on new smartphones are getting larger and while it gives us better image quality it directly affects the quality and optical performance with the external lenses that have been designed for older generation phones with smaller camera modules. These new trends and a passion to create new things pushed us to go on a journey to start working on a new lens. And of course, we picked the Anamorphic lens as our next project!

New Beastgrip Pro Series 1.33X Anamorphic Lens MK2 will help you take your smartphone filmmaking to the next level. Completely redesigned optics and unique lens coating will deliver balanced and detailed images, with great contrast and color across the whole frame. Our new lens has much larger glass elements to deliver incredible image quality without vignetting even on phones with 24mm cameras. A beautiful widescreen 2.4:1 aspect ratio will make your footage look like a scene from your favorite Hollywood movie. Thanks to our new lens coating you will notice right away how beautiful and organic the horizontal flares are with this new lens.

As with every Beastgrip product, this new 1.33X MK2 Anamorphic lens has the same great build quality. With the integrated 58mm filter mount you will be able to use your favorite filters for even more creative control. The standard 37mm mount makes it compatible with our universal Beastgrip Pro rig so you can use it with iPhone or Android phones or with our Beastcage for iPhone.
