Mobile journalism is huge right now. MoJo Con in Ireland going on next week, and we thought it'd be a good idea to post about a special class held at the Rome Press Club in Italy by iPhoneography journalism veteran Nico Piro. We had the pleasure of speaking to the class via Skype to demonstrate a few tips and setup recommendations for them to get started with (shown below).

Beastgrip Pro, Extreme Wide Angle lens, Custom Cold Shoe Mount (available on Amazon), Beastgrip Tripod/Monopod (release date coming soon!) RODE VideoMicro, and Lumecube for "run and gun" style shooting/all-purpose setup

Beastgrip Pro, Moondog Labs, MOVO SVH6, RODE VideoMicro (not shown) for cinematic-style documentaries

Nico Piro (shown on far right) and the class

Nico Piro plans to do more of these informative classes all around Rome, in hopes to educate as many MOJOs as possible. Stay tuned for more information on the best tools for mobile journalism and live streaming! We'll go in-depth on the best bang-for-your-buck products on the market for beginners and advanced users. Ciao for now!
