The Beastcage includes two interchangeable lens mount plates. The 37mm lens mount plate comes pre-installed. To use M Series Lenses please install the M Series bayonet mount plate first!

Use the included hex key to swap the lens mount plate.

ATTENTION: to avoid stripping or damaging the threads, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the screws.

M Series 1.33X Anamorphic Lens Alignment

The M Series 1.33X Anamorphic Lens has a rotating barrel to align optical elements in proper position. After lens is installed, rotate the barrel clockwise 90 degrees for proper horizontal orientation, if necessary.

Beastgrip M Series 1.33X Anamorphic Lens

The M Series 1.33X Anamorphic Lens “squeezes” the image horizontally, so it can later be “de-squeezed” for a widescreen aspect ratio (2:4.1 for videos or 16:9 for photos). For the best experience, we recommend using the "Anamorphic" setting on one of the apps below. Alternatively, you can use any photo or video app - including the stock/native camera app - and "de-squeeze" your photo or video later during post-production

BeastCam (coming soon), FiLMiC Pro, Filmakr, MAVIS, ProMovie Recorder, MoviePro, Guerrilla Filmmaker, Desqueeze (photo & video resizer)
