Beyond Boundaries: The Groundbreaking Short Film 'O2' Shot on iPhone with Beastgrip new Фoton Adapter

September 9, 2024

We’re thrilled to announce our latest collaboration with Evotime Films on the short film “O2.” This remarkable project showcases the evolution of mobile filmmaking, captured entirely on an iPhone and powered by the new Beastgrip DOF Adapter Photon adapter in partnership with Atlas Lens Co. and Old Fast Glass.

“O2” redefines the limits of mobile cinematography, demonstrating the extraordinary capabilities of filmmaking on a smartphone. For this project we paired Atlas anamorphic lenses with our new Beastgrip Photon adapter, the next-generation DOF adapter for cinema lenses and the robust Beastmode cage to achieve a truly cinematic experience.

So what makes the new Photon adapter so special? It features a new upgraded optical design that outperforms traditional DOF adapters. By eliminating ground glass we were able to design an adapter that brings more details and better image quality, delivering the power of cinema optics to smartphone filmmakers.

And then there’s our upcoming Beastmode Cage. Our gear has always been known for its durability, but with feedback from professionals in the industry we took it a step further. Our new Beastmode Cage is engineered for high-pressure production environments, allowing professional filmmakers to maintain efficiency without compromising on performance.

We’re beyond excited for “O2,” which is currently being submitted to film festivals worldwide. Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking gear and be sure to follow the project online to show your support.
