Hello #beastgripnation. Here we are with a quick update for you on the newly released iPhone 14 Pro series and Beastgrip gear. We finally got the new iPhone 14 Pro and ran some tests. Please watch this video were we talk more about our initial testing and overall first impressions of newly released iPhone 14 Pro series.
So first, let’s talk about our universal smartphone rig Beastgrip Pro. The great news is that Beastgrip Pro is fully compatible with the new iPhone 14 Pro Series.
The updates we did back in May this year to the Beastgrip Pro design make it fit perfectly with the larger camera bump on iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max! If you have an older version of the Beastgrip Pro, we recommend using the lens mount we designed for iPhone 12/13 Pro Max. We are also working on a new upgrade kit that will be available later this year, allowing you to update your older Beastgrip Pro unit to the current version we sell right now on our website.
Now let’s jump to the Beastcage. Previous models of Beastcages are incompatible and will not fit iPhone 14 models. The camera module design in the new iPhone 14 Pro series is much larger therefore, it is incompatible. Our team has already started designing new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max Beastcages, and I am sure we all can not wait until it arrives on the market. So let's all be patient:) Please subscribe to our newsletter to get notified about the release.
Now let's talk about Beastgrip lenses. Pro Series 0.75X Wide Angle Lens for iPhone14 and Pro Series 1.33X Anamorphic Lens MK2 work perfectly with the new iPhone 14 Pro series. And we are working on a new Telephoto lens,1.55X Anamorphic Lens MK2, and Fisheye Lens that will deliver the same great optical performance on the latest iPhones! Stay tuned for more news; we are working on another video to show you some sample shots!
DOF Adapter MK2
While using the Beastgrip DOF adapter, you will experience focusing issues. The new iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have a longer minimum focusing distance compared to all previous iPhone models, for this reason, it is not capable of focusing on the focusing screen. The immediate solution we have for this is to use a 37mm close-up filter. The +4 close-up filter will fix this issue, plus it is affordable.
Now let’s discuss our Beastcam app. We are working on releasing an update that will fix all the known issues and will bring our app up and running on the new iPhone 14 and iOS 16. The ProRes option is not available at this time, and while using 10-Bit, you might experience issues with preview. This upcoming update will fix all those issues. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
P.S. New video with more details and sample footage from our recent iPhone 14 Pro and Beastgrip gear testing is coming soon. Please stay tuned.

Long awaited iPhone 14 is almost here! Big day for iPhonegorpahy fans! This new release came with some exciting updates. The brand new 48-megapixel sensor on iPhone 14 Pro models is here, and we can not wait to test it out! It has been a while since Apple updated iPhones 12-megapixel sensor, so the new 48-megapixel sensor is a significant positive change.
2x lossless 4K video recording on the primary wide camera is also a big deal! We see a huge potential when this feature is combined with additional lenses. This means consistent quality with a broader range of focal lengths, enhanced perspective, and the look of the images.
Based on what we see, we can say that Beastgrip Pro and Beastclamp should be fully compatible with the new iPhone 14 models. Also, we will be making new Beastcages for iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models and testing our lenses as soon as we get the new iPhone 14 in our hands.
Hope you all enjoyed this year's Apple event and are excited as we are to get the new updated iPhone 14!

We know everyone is extremely excited about tomorrow's Apple event. We have all been patiently waiting for the new iPhone 14 and have big hopes to see some new technologies implemented in this year's Apple release, especially in the camera department. The good news is that in less than 24 hours, we will know it all!
Once we get a clear picture of what’s coming with this new release we will start testing the new iPhone 14 with Beastgrip gear. It might take some time, so your patience will be greatly appreciated. Our goal is to test every piece of Beastgrip gear with the new iPhone 14 and give you all the updates as soon as these tests are completed. Please keep an eye on our posts and social media!
One thing we know for sure is we will be making Beastcages for iPhone 14 Pro series! Our team is eager to start working on new cages as soon as Apple releases drawings.
That’s all for today, please stay tuned for the updates.
