First, let's talk about the New Arca-Swiss-style Plate. This new accessory has been developed specifically for the iPhone 16 Beastcages. It makes mounting your rig to gimbals and tripods faster, easier, and more secure. This new plate features Arri locating pins for rock-solid stability and multiple ⅜" and ¼" threads for max flexibility, and it’s future-proofed for upcoming Beastcage models.

When using a gimbal with your iPhone and Beastcage, mounting the cage upside down helps achieve better balance when using additional lenses and allows you to align the iPhone’s optical camera center with the gimbal’s tilt axis for more stable, natural movement. That's where the new Arca-Swiss Plate proves invaluable. It's engineered to sit flush with your Beastcage frame, eliminating any forward protrusion toward the camera. This allows you to quickly change lenses and filters if needed and keeps your rig balanced and easy to work with.

Attaching your Beastcage to any Arca-Swiss compatible tripod is now a breeze. The new Arca-Swiss Plate allows you to swiftly lock in your rig and just as easily detach it, making it ideal for fast-paced environments where efficiency is paramount. Additionally, when paired with our new RT and LT mounts for the Beastcage iPhone 16 series, you can securely attach your cage to a tripod in portrait orientation using this Arca-Swiss plate. This flexibility is perfect for dynamic shooting scenarios.

RT and LT Mounts for iPhone 16 Beastcages: Flexibility and Versatility

The new handle mounts for the iPhone 16 Beastcage offer unmatched flexibility, allowing you to easily customize your rig to suit any scenario. They integrate smoothly into your workflow, adapting effortlessly to your creative needs. Designed with versatility in mind, each mount features locating pins and attaches securely to the Beastcage with a single screw, ensuring a precise fit. Made from high-quality machined aluminum, they are both lightweight and durable, promising long-term reliability. Also, they will be fully compatible with upcoming Beastcage models, safeguarding your investment for future upgrades.

RT & LT Mounts

The RT (Right) and LT (Left) mounts provide secure, professional-grade attachment points for your Beastcage 16 Series rig. Designed with versatility in mind, both sides support handles and accessories featuring NATO rail or ARRI Rosette connectors—ideal for ergonomic hand-held setups, side handles, and advanced modular configurations.

Offering two configurations, RT (right side) and LT (left side), these mounts are built on standard NATO rails, enabling easy attachment of our Side Handle or any other NATO-compatible handle. The NATO rail is detachable, allowing you to utilize the built-in ARRI Rosette for attaching any standard Rosette-compatible handle. This dual-option system provides exceptional flexibility, accommodating both NATO and Rosette handles.

These mounts can also be attached to the bottom part of your cage, expanding your configuration possibilities. Position them at the same location as you would on the top, or place a mount closer to the cage's center to build a more compact setup. With NATO profiles on both sides, you can swiftly switch your Side Handle between horizontal and vertical positions, enhancing your shooting versatility.

Each mount features multiple ¼-inch and ⅜-inch threaded holes, along with locating pin slots, ensuring a secure fit when attaching your Beastcage to a tripod using our Arca-Swiss-style quick release plate or any compatible tripod plate. This design also provides additional mounting points for accessories. Importantly, when the mount is attached, it doesn't obstruct your iPhone's ports, allowing full access for cables and connections.
